Originally opened by Mel and Janie Master in 1994, Mel's quickly established a reputation for great food, outstanding service and a strong wine program.  Fast-forwarding through 16 years of loyal customers and critical acclaim, Mel's finds iteslf under the stewardship of Chef/Owner Chad Clevenger.

After studying at the Le Cordon Bleu program at the Texas Culinary Academy, Chad began his career at the world famous Coyote Cafe under the guidance of renowned chef, Mark Miller.  Chad worked his way up to executive chef and honed his skills cooking rustic American and Southwestern cuisine.

Chad and the Masters joined forces in 2005 at Mel's of Cherry Creek and later Mel's of Greenwood Village and the Agave Grill.  In 2007, he took a break from Mel's and spent time working in France as a private chef and at the Michelin-starred restaurant of Hotel Le Saint Paul.

Today, he carries on the Mel's tradition at Mel's Bar and Grill and looks forward to providing you with the very best in New American cuisine.  Paired with our attention to detail and focus on exemplary service, your dining experience is sure to be memorable.
